Fans’ guide to Indians homestand: Seven games vs. Astros, A’s

The Cleveland Indians return to Progressive Field for a seven-game homestand against the Houston Astros (July 6-9) and Oakland Athletics (July 10-12).

Here’s your guide to what’s going on at the ballpark, including a team that’s won five of its last seven and will play the AL West-leading Astros and surging A’s.

$2 beers pregame on Friday night

Friday night, fans can enjoy great deals including Sugardale dollar hot dogs, $2 12 ounce domestic cans and free postgame fireworks set to Trans Am Rock. The great deal on domestic cans will only be available in the Right Field District from 5-7PM.

 

Monday, July 6 vs. Astros @ 7:10PM

Ballpark app: Download MLB.com’s Ballpark app presented by KeyBank and stay up to date on all things Tribe. Ballpark features mobile check-in offers from KeyBank, Majestic, New Era and other partners, an interactive concourse map, exclusive team videos and more. Fans can also easily manage their tickets digitally through the app, and gain access to the Indians mobile-only entrance at the Right Field Gate.

Topps Giveaway: Upon exiting the gate, fans will receive Topps cards.

 

Tuesday, July 7 vs. Astros @ 7:10PM

Pepsi photo booth: Stop by section 153 and snap a photo in the Pepsi photo booth! Fans can hop in the booth and take a picture featuring a backdrop from the ’95 season, then email the photo to themselves once done. Enjoy the Pepsi photo booth every game through July.

50/50 Raffle: The 50/50 Raffle will be available for all home games of the 2015 season. The raffle will support Cleveland Indians Charities in its mission to provide softball and baseball programs to the underprivileged youth of Cleveland.

 

Wednesday, July 8 vs. Astros @ 7:10PM

Carlos Santana bobblehead, courtesy of Discount Drug Mart: Upon entering the gates 10,000 fans will receive a Carlos Santana bobblehead.

Visit the Bob Feller Exhibit: Be sure to check out the new Bob Feller Exhibit located on the Terrace Club third floor. Open to all fans, the exhibit features historic items such as Feller’s U.S. Navy jacket, his Opening Day no-hitter glove and much more.

Buy Early and Save: Fans who purchase tickets early and online will always receive the best prices on game tickets. Buying tickets online rather than at the box offices provide fans the best deals.

 

Thursday, July 9 vs. Astros @ 7:10PM

Mike & Mike to toss first pitches: Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic of ESPN’s “Mike & Mike” will toss the ceremonial first pitch at Thursday’s game. Mike & Mike will air live from Progressive Field Friday morning.

Mark Duncan camera well dedication: Prior to Thursday’s game, the Cleveland Indians will dedicate the first base side camera well in honor of Mark Duncan. Duncan recently retired from The Associated Press after years of photographing Indians games.

 

Friday, July 10 vs. A’s @ 7:10PM

ALL GATES: OPEN at 6PM (Right Field Gate/Family Deck open at 5PM)

$2 Budweiser, Bud Light cans: Pregame at the park Friday from 5-7PM with $2 12 ounce domestic cans. Deal is only available in the Right Field District.

Sugardale Dollar Dog Night: Come down to the ballpark and enjoy a fan favorite — Sugardale Dollar Dog night, one of 15 this year.

Postgame Fireworks, presented by Wayside Furniture: Hang out after the game to enjoy a spectacular post-game fireworks show set to the music of Trans Am Rock.

Pregame party: Come down to the ballpark early to enjoy pregame activities and a performance on the RTA Summer Stage and at The Corner.

Alumni autographs: Max Alvis and Tito Francona Sr. will be on hand for fan autographs in Heritage Park from 6PM-6:30PM.

Uber representatives will be at The Corner: Uber Cleveland will be at The Corner bar passing out tchotchkes and providing fans with a passcode for a free first ride up to $20.

 

Saturday, July 11 vs. A’s @ 6:35PM

1995 Sandy Alomar Jr. replica jersey, courtesy of Medical Mutual: Upon entering the gates 15,000 fans will receive a 1995 Sandy Alomar replica jersey.

Postgame Fireworks, presented by J.M. Smucker’s: Fans can stick around after the game and enjoy post-game fireworks set to Rib Eye of the Tiger.

Pregame party: Come down to the ballpark early to enjoy pregame activities and a performance on the RTA Summer Stage and at The Corner.

KeyBank Kids Fun Day: Back for another season, KeyBank Kids Fun Day will take place every Sunday of 2015. Families can enjoy kid-friendly activities in the newly renovated Kids Clubhouse including performances from Manny The Magician, Great Lakes Science Center, Jungle Terry face painters, caricature artists and a pregame interview with a current Indians player.

Kids Run the Bases Presented by Cleveland Clinic Children’s: Young Tribe fans will have the opportunity to run the bases like their favorite players after the game! All kids (12 & under) can stay immediately after the game to take part, and 100 participants will receive an item from Cleveland Clinic Children’s when they’re finished.

Win a Step2 gift package: Head to the Kids Clubhouse and enter to win a summer fun gift package from Step2; winner drawn in the 8th inning.

Purell post-game sampling: Fans are able to take free samples of Purell hand sanitizer after the game. Samples will be available at all gates.
